Great PR!
Colleagues often ask how I convince people to do a video testimonial! It isn’t always easy, but all the Accounts Payable Managers, Customer Service Managers and IT Transformation leads that we work with are proud of the results they have achieved, and want to shout about their efficiency gains and touchless processing results. They understand it is not only great PR for themselves, but a fantastic way of promoting their company as being forward looking and digitally empowered.
In fact, most of the people featured in my video testimonials have got promotions! This is because the whole company gets to see the results of their digital transformation. On one occasion, the CEO of a large corporation commented on the LinkedIn post featuring the testimonial and congratulated the whole team!
It’s a great way to get noticed, not just within your company but to others too!

Video Testimonials Format
The format of the video testimonials follows a similar line to our customer success stories - focusing on the challenges the customer experienced before automation, why they chose Esker, the Esker solution features they chose to implement, and the resulting benefits they have achieved.
We film for about 4-5 hours and within this time we interview two people and go through a pre-prepared script. This highlights the main results achieved by the company and also the benefits the team have experienced since automation, such as reduced non-value added tasks leading to less stress and more efficiency for teams, the ability to work remotely/on the move, more time for value added tasks such as talking to customers and answering queries.

The editing team will cut the footage to a final edit of about 2 minutes and from this we take 2 or 3 highlights and make these into ‘shorts’, or 30 seconds’ worth of footage suitable for social media posts. These ‘shorts’ are bite-sized highlights that have proven very popular on LinkedIn, X and YouTube. Our Sales Development Representatives also send the ‘shorts’ to prospective customers to illustrate what our customers can achieve in a quick and eye-catching way.
Partner testimonials
Another type of video testimonial are partner testimonials. These are a way of showcasing which partners we are working with and how we have benefitted together from a joint partnership.

We plan to develop more partner testimonials which will demonstrate how we have worked together to provide a solution, carry out the implementation, training and follow on support with our Customer Experience team.
All of our testimonials are available on our Customer Spotlight and Partner Spotlight pages on our website, on YouTube, and the audio versions are available on Esker On Air. We use them regularly on socials and in presentations and emails as well, as they really make the most out of the endorsements our customers give us.
