The organisation’s ultimate aim was to have continuous improvement across its business, and one area in particular was to streamline its back office processes. One of the company’s biggest challenges that they identified was to find a solution to automate the preparation and print of work orders from their Oracle business system. Their current process was entirely manual, whereby the various documents had to be searched for within their ERP database which was difficult to navigate and slow to source the relevant folders.

For the organisation to advance its current work order preparation and delivery, it was essential that the work order reference numbers could automatically retrieve any associated assets and operations documents. This would then create a works order pack with all documents included as one single document which could then be printed off at the nearest printer to the location of the specific job.
