Schibsted Spain Automates the Delivery of 300,000 Invoices with Esker’s Cloud-Based Accounts Receivable Solution
Invoices are processed in compliance with Spain’s public administration e-invoicing regulations.
Derby, UK — September 27, 2016 — Esker, a worldwide leader in document process automation solutions and pioneer in cloud computing, today announced it was selected by Schibsted Spain, a leader in digital media and online classified ads, to automate the delivery of its 300,000 annual customer invoices. Thanks to Esker’s accounts receivable automation solution, Schibsted Spain can now generate invoices in compliance with FACe, the Spanish public administration’s platform, as well as offer its customers a collaborative web portal.
Fully integrated with Schibsted’s existing Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV ERP solution, Esker’s solution enables the company to automate the sending of invoices in the customer’s preferred format (e.g., FacturaE XML with electronic signature, PDF or paper) directly from its Barcelona, Spain headquarters.
Schibsted’s 50,000 customers benefit from a self-service, personalised web portal from which they can: access invoices, select invoice delivery methods, check payment due dates, report any invoice or payment discrepancies, and archive invoices for as long as necessary. Additionally, Schibsted’s 1,200 paper invoices are processed via Esker’s mail production facility.
The Spanish public administration, one of Schibsted’s customers, requires its suppliers to send einvoices to the FACe platform. Esker’s solution, compliant with legislation in over 50 countries, enables Schibsted to meet these requirements and submit invoices directly to FACe.
