Esker Helps Global Packaging Manufacturer Quit Paper and Reduce Costs with Fax and Mail Services

Derby — August 23rd, 2016 — Derby-based Esker UK has helped one of the world’s leading packaging manufacturers to reduce costs and streamline customer care with the introduction of the world’s first online fax and mail service.
The organisation has a wide global footprint to provide a broad range of packaging related products and services, including packaging for beverages, food, healthcare, personal and homecare, tobacco and industrial applications.
With such an extensive product portfolio the organisation chose Esker’s on-demand solutions for sending invoices and other business documents via email, fax or post through a simple automated process. Although some of the organisations customers were not quite ready to receive fully electronic invoices they were able to use Esker’s Mail Services solution which enabled automation of every phase of mail processing, from submitting a document for mailing to printing, folding, inserting, stamping and delivery to the postal service.
With a fully automated process allowing paper-based documents to be kept to a minimum the organisation has been able to speed up the delivery of invoices by up to 50% through a combination of mail, fax and electronic invoicing as preferred by the customer. Each individual invoice can be easily tracked and traced along the whole process allowing the organisation to respond immediately to any enquiry made and improve their customer service with 100% status visibility. This has also brought significant bottom line cost savings as paper requirements have reduced, storage minimised and fax hardware eliminated.
