BUREAU VERITAS GAINS REAL COST AND TIME SAVINGS WITH DOCUMENT AUTOMATION

Derby — March 17, 2016 — Esker, a worldwide leader in document process automation solutions, announced today it has been selected by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in conformity assessment and certification services, to help streamline their existing Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

Historically over 3,000 outbound documents such as remittance advices, statements, etc. were printed off every month from their accounts department, then passed to the post room for despatch. This was a time consuming exercise, which was becoming more and more costly. The increase in UK postal charges prompted action to be taken and an internal review of their processes.

Esker has enabled Bureau Veritas to automate the delivery of a variety of documentation using its marketleading cloud based solutions enabling substantial savings in time and costs to be gained.

Bureau Veritas knew they wanted to start sending out some of their regular documentation via email, whilst retaining their corporate branding, so consulted Esker on the best way to achieve this.

As a French owned company, Bureau Veritas had their IT systems based in France and over the years many systems had been generated and were working independently of each other. Esker was able to implement a single solution that could work across all these various platforms. “The Esker solution is very simple and easy to use and generated both cost and time savings as soon as it was up-and-running commented Kyle Veitch, Technical Quality and Risk Director — North West Europe at Bureau Veritas.

“The Esker team have given us a first class service. They have been knowledgeable, committed and very responsive throughout the whole process. Any issues have been resolved quickly and with the minimum of fuss. We are delighted with the whole Esker experience and look forward to working with them in the future”, concluded Kyle.

Alistair Nicholas, Managing Director at Esker Northern Europe, explains why Esker solutions are growing in popularity: “Esker provides businesses of all sizes with flexible and cost effective solutions to their document process automation requirements. It brings together every aspect of document process automation into a single solution and reduces the use of paper within business processes.

“The solution can send and receive any document and leverages existing information systems to find the most cost-efficient routing paths – and it is this ability to easily automate the exchange of critical business documents between customers, business partners, and suppliers regardless of source, format, and destination that is proving particularly attractive to businesses,” added Alistair.
