Market Dojo (an Esker company): Content Marketing Specialist at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company

Job purpose:
To own and create content-related marketing activity across multiple platforms to drive demand, sales and product engagement.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and evolve an impactful content marketing programme aligned to marketing objectives and built to facilitate growth for Market Dojo.
- Create high-quality marketing content campaigns to reach new audiences.
- Own the content calendar including scheduling, publishing, distribution, tracking success and areas of improvement.
- Continually assess data and evaluate strategy to align with our customers.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to write long and short form content that covers demand generation content flow, including blogs, downloads, gated content, social media posts and landing pages.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product and Customer Success teams to agree and prioritise the production of enablement content in line with specific business needs.
- Identify and produce original and engaging content pieces that raise brand awareness, generate leads and showcase our industry expertise.
- Grow our presence on social media platforms with engaging content that creates a conversation with our community.
- Leverage SEO best practices to publish high-performing search driven content that drives increased monthly site traffic.
- Create your own well-researched content quickly, experimenting with format and tone to optimise for traffic and engagement.
- You will develop a deep understanding of procurement, identifying where and how content can provide the greatest value.
Person specification:
- Energetic and self-motivated with a strong team ethic.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Excellent command of English language and grammar.
- Capable of managing your own workload, while operating in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines in accordance with business requirements.
- Strong project management skills and organisational skills.
- Passionate about technology.
- Clean and valid driving licence.
- Need to be eligible to work in the UK.
Experience and qualifications:
- Educated in marketing, either degree level or CIM qualification.
- Proven experience designing and delivering effective content marketing programmes in a B2B/technology driven environment.
- Experience as a writer and editor, working on content outputs geared toward buyers at all stages across the sales and marketing funnel.
- Proven experience of posting and managing organic social media content (specifically LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) and how to leverage it for business.
- Experience with various tools in the marketing technology stack including CMS (ideally, Wordpress and/or Drupal), marketing automation platforms (ideally Zoho and/or Pardot), and digital measurement tools (ideally Google Analytics).
- High familiarity with a range of marketing channels and content formats (short form blogs or social content, long form thought leadership or white papers etc.).
- Ability to unearth the conversations that Market Dojo needs to be part of and the know-how to shape these conversations to help grow our brand and business.
- Demonstrable experience and success in lead generation of a solution sale within the mid-market sector. Knowledge of lead generation best practices in a SaaS environment.
- Analytical skills and experience in marketing reporting and dashboarding.
- Understanding of data handling and processing for GDPR compliance.
